Company-profile.

Raadgevend Bureau Krijger Services (Kenya) Ltd. (Dutch for Consultancy Agency Krijger Services (Kenya) Ltd. has been active in the world of communications since 2002.

The initial capital invested was a mere USD 1,200, which has grown to approx USD 100,000 to date. The annual turnover currently stands at approx USD 250,000.

Jaap Krijger has worked in the East-African region for over 10 years, out of which 2 years with Afsat Communications Ltd.  Prior to his experiences in Africa he worked with the Royal Dutch Navy as a Logistics Officer.

Companies represented include Codan, Prodelin, Comtech, ViaSat, iDirect, Raydyne-Comstream and CommScope.  This doesn’t mean they are restricted to these products and have installed various systems like HNS, Gilat and Paradise.

RBK Services (K) Ltd.’s motto is simply: “Do what you’re good at, leave the rest to others.”. Therefore, RBK Services (K) Ltd. has entered into partnerships with a variety of companies throughout Africa and Europe. We have a distributor-network covering most countries in Africa. All our partners / distributors are licensed international operators (in the countries applicable) and licensed installers of communication equipment.

It is through these means that we’re able to offer total solutions, from civil-works for mounts, masts and towers, to standby generators, to software for points of sale, to complete financial/operational packages for organizations with various branches in various countries.

In East Africa, RBK Services (K) Ltd. has installed a network for supermarket-chain, Uchumi, comprising of 29 sites. This network was completed in exactly one month. Currently we’re rolling out an Africa-wide network; the D-star service of KDN in Eastern Africa.
