AITEC is hosting the continent's first WiMAX & CDMA Forum |
| New technologies like WiMAX & CDMA are about to transform
Africa's communications sector at an unprecedented rate.
AITEC is hosting the continent's first WiMAX & CDMA Forum to provide a marketing and education platform to promote effective roll-out of the technology throughout Africa. The first African WiMAX & CDMA Forum will provide practical business and technology briefings to empower resellers, service providers and users to maximise their returns on the increasing investment that they will be making in the technology over the coming years. There is a compelling business and developmental case for extensive deployment of both WiMAX and CDMA roll-out across Africa, in response to the rapid increase in demand for affordable broadband and voice connectivity. WiMAX looks set to be the best suited technology to provide both data and VoIP services to business, residential, government and developmental users in both rural and urban settings. By providing a platform for vendors, service providers and users to network and share knowledge, the African WiMAX & CDMA Forum will act as a catalyst to stimulate take-up of the technologies and multiply connectivity across Africa. Please follow the web site link http://new.aitecafrica.com/ to find the WiMAX forum draft programme. I look forward to be of service to you should you need more information and to register for the forum.
