Satellite Network build, restoration and network growth using VSATs and Eutelsat W3 satellite at 7 deg East longitude. |
|
You have a network requirement:
Provide VSATs at each node with data channel units connected to spare
connections on your data routers. In the event of satellite capacity
being required between sites, a 'data call' is set up and capacity provided
immediately, at whatever bit rate, for as long as required. It is as
simple as that...
The VSATs will be typically 1.8m diameter at most remote sites but perhaps 2.4m
or 3.8m diameter at main traffic nodes or at the outer edge of the satellite
beam coverage.
