For service in Nigeria try clicking on the emails on page https://www.satsig.net/ivsat-africa.htm and asking each service provider for a quotation. Typical C band BUC power is 5 watts, but the service provider will know as it depends on your uplink bit rate, dish size and the satellite beam sensitivity. 2 watts BUC power is typical for Ku band.

you are not necessarily right. we at MM Telcom are using in west africa 1 watt BUC for Ku and 2 watt for the C band, it works like a charm... |

I have attended a Global Vsat Forum(GVF) training and I presently work with an IT firm in Nigeria.
We install, configure and maitain Vsats for Internet access. I will be pleased to share my expertise with anyone at any time. |
