i tried to install my motorized fta dish, i couldn't. i tried everything and it didn't work. does anyone know motorized dish installers around Los Angeles, ca? i checked online and yellow page, there are none. i mention motor, they just hang up.

they are too expensive. i told them that i already put the dish on my roof and i only need someone to get me a signal. and they said it'll cost me $300-$400 dolloar. everything is up there all they have to do is point the dish in the direct direction. i think this is too expeinsive. atleast for me.

How much is your time worth ?  It is not unusual for beginners to spend several weeks trying to align polar mounts and even then only achieving moderate results or none at all.   I've provided advice here and on average I would say it take 7 days to get the job done.    Read here https://www.satsig.net/ssazelm.htm and here https://www.satsig.net/polar-mount-4.htm
