I am newly registered to this forum. I must say i am impressed with the level of resources available on this site/forum.

I am just about to start activating linkstar modems on the Mweb Platform. Can anyone help me with an itemised sequence/procedure to follow during installations of new sites.
Any other related information on site activation will be highly appreciated.

The box for the LinkStar modem normally contains a large glossy quick reference installation guide.

There is a more substantial installation instructions manual available from your service provider.

In both cases this may not be the latest version.  Note the large file size before downloading.

on our afri-sat company website we published a short step by step guide including the typical modem configuration and the typical setup process for customers:

These page shows the public IP setup with the Linkstar terminal:
https://www.afri-sat.com/support/configuration/ip_setup/

This are just examples for you - but they should work with the regarding modified parameters (Frequency, Polarity, IPs etc.) with any other Linkstar broadband provider.

You will get these parameters from your ISP.
