Sir,
We have to install a point to point RF link installation between 2 offices .The circuit will be 2E1, or E1 circuit we need to install . So could you please suggest the RF products which are best or available to support E1 circuits. Regards Techtest |

To techtest: What is the E1 or 2 E1 interface that you want to connect ?
A CDM570L modem has G703 (both unbalanced coax and balanced DB15-F) for E1 at 2.048 Mbps. For the remaining RF equipment, you need antenna, LNB and BUC with sufficient gain, sensititivity and power to suit the satellite link budget. I would recommend 8-PSK or 16-QAM modulation and extra large dishes as this will be cheaper in the long run. What satellite and frequency band do you want ? If you let us know your two end point locations (lat/long or town/country names) people can help you. The router mentioned above sounds good if you want to route ethernet traffic over a terrestrial or satellite E1 connection. If ethernet traffic over satellite is the requirement then why not use an ethernet type satellite modem (iDirect 5000 SCPC or Comtech CDM570) with whatever bit rate you need, but terminating in ethernet.
