Title: GOSAT: New Surfbeam VSAT service Post by Eric Johnston on Apr 15th, 2010 at 12:03pm
An interesting news release arrived from NSTT, this morning.
NSTT have started a new service, called GOSAT, for the Middle East using INTELSAT-15 Ku band beam - see below. The GOSAT service is based on the ViaSAT Surfbeam modem - similar to Wildblue and Tooway. In this case the modem has "built in wireless LAN" which is a new development for VSAT modems. Read more about GOSAT VSAT service in Middle East or go to https://nsttonline.com/ Best regards, Eric. |

Is this currently the only service in the Middle East that is providing this kind of service? I.e. with the DOCSIS based SurfBeam modem?
