->        What's the present infrastructure of internet connectivity and its reliability in these countries
->        What's the present/future breakdown of internet user connectivity (via cable, via satellite, via 3G etc)
->        Is there a monopoly of internet connectivity ?
Liberalization of the market? Is there any form of private competition in this specific market?
->        Is internet via satellite banned?
->        Who are the internet service providers and the virtual network operators in these countries ?

- Are there any future developments or infrastructure projects planned for internet connectivity?

10 years ago there were hardly any VSAT service providers with beams covering Africa. I started this web page https://www.satsig.net/ivsat-africa.htm and contacted several companies and once they had their networks up, I added them to the page. It was hard going initially but I did manage to ultimately get enough companies on board to offer a comprehensive and competitive range of alternatives.  

The idea was to enable end user customers to find suitable service providers, based on EIRP and G/T beam coverage contours, frequency band, polarisation type, elevation angle and technology.

After a few years I met my objective and had enough companies, but since then the number has continued to grow and there now too many companies to list them all.

I suggest you read every link from page https://www.satsig.net/ivsat-africa.htm and also browse this Africa section of the forum where many companies make their services known.
