Title: HN7000S -  Possible Turbo Page Problem?
Post by tophinc on Dec 1st, 2010 at 7:45am
Hi,

I would like to seek all your expertise to determine if what's causing this Turbo Page Error. I've been having On/Off Internet Connectivity. The provider hasn't been able to identify what is causing it. :) I have other friends who have the same problem.

This screenshot is appears if I have Web Browsing Problem.

Also ran a diagnostic analysis and this was the result.

What diagnostic code did you enter into the analyzer to get that 2nd screen shot? I ask, because my firmware version is 5.8.0.82, which might explain why the SGWFC category is not listed in my hourly summary. All I know is the FC part represents "flow control". Since your modem is operating on v5.8.0.21 (which I think is over 2 years old), have you asked the provider if there's an update available?

Anyway, next time you get that red X - click on it. A text version of the diagnostic summary should result. Scroll down to PEP Diagnostic Status and note whether "Flow control in effect" is followed by a YES or a NO. Either way, it's beyond your control, and is triggered by traffic levels at the gateway server. Your modem is only reflecting a status that is beyond your control

As far as the TPC Disabled, go to TurboPage/Advanced Cfg. Which option is selected? Go also to TurboPage/All Config and scroll down to TPS Configured. What do you see there?
