Have a look in https://www.lyngsat.com/ew3a.html find a W3A beam map that covers your area.
Note the frequency, symbol rate and polarisation name of a suitable TV carrier. Assuming use of a common Universal Ku band Satellite TV LNBF, with switchable low/high freq band and switchable linear polarisation ... Subtract your LNB local oscillator frequency (normally 9750 MHz or 10600 MHz, controlled by 22 kHz tone) and then tune your receiver to the appropriate L band frequency and set the 22 kHz tone off or on. Polarisation. Start with your LNB upright. If you need to apply a positive adjustment turn the LNB clockwise by that amount while facing towards the satellite in the sky. Use low/high (13V or 19 V) LNB voltage to select the alternative Vertical or Horizontal polarisation names. Calculate the pointing angles and polarisation adjustment here https://www.satsig.net/maps/lat-long-finder.htm wxw Best regards, Eric. |
