We are trying to align antenna on Chinasat 10 110.5 DE. The UL is V-Pol and DL is H-Pol. I am trying to receiv beacon frequency on spectrum analyzer but unable to recive. This is the first antenna we are aligning on this satellite. Kindly let me know the steps and possible mistakes I am doing for receiving beacon.

What is your location? This way we can help you calculate elevation and azimuth.

What is your antenna make and model?

Regarding checking the beacon - what LNB are you using? PLL or DRO?  Model number ?  Local oscillator frequency ? What is the satellite beacon frequency ?  Is the satellite beacon linear or circular polarised ?

What kind of spectrum analyzer are you using?
