What version iDS?

The process will take some time to type..and I wont be able to get to it this morning.  Possibly this evening.

You should consider getting ahold of iDirects PDF "Recovering Infiniti Remotes."  It would save a lot of typing.

Such manuals (bona-fide troubleshooting manuals) do not exist.  What does exist are operator manuals, tech bulletins, and bug notices.   It sounds like you have those.

1. Connect Remote with your PC by Cisco console cable and turn on the Remote.
2. Use Hyper Terminal or other applications and login to Remote.
3. Use “ifconfig” command, which will give you the IP Address of the remote.
4. Configure your PC LAN IP with same subnet as Remote and connect a “Straight cable”.
5. Make sure, you can ping from PC to Remote.
6. Use iSite to download package and option file into Remote (hope you know how to use iSite).
7. If you still want to use WinSCP to download image, you must use “Recovery Procedure” and follow the steps given in that.
Hope this helps..!

The above are recovery procedures and have nothing to do with the rlock function.
