Linkway Mesh problem

I wish people would stop calling the linkway system a mesh network.   The definition of a mesh network is that everyone can talk to everyone AND that if someone went down communication can still go on through other sites.  That would mean that every site has the same abilities.

If you Lose your NCC services, EVERYONE is down.  I understand that there can be one ANCC, but that is not enough to make it a mesh.  Until Viasat makes it so every site has an ANCC then it is not a mesh topography.  At this point it is just a dumber, less reliable, version of the iDirect system.  Especially with Oricles recent announcement that they wil be stopping all Sun Server lines within a couple years.

I just had to rant to other people that are in my job field that know what I am talking about.  Thanks for reading ^.^
