Broadband satellite internet service provider Aramiska is reported as having closed down today without any warning.  Emails have apparently been sent to customers telling them that service ceases tomorrow.

Anyone looking for replacement service please say what equipment you have and everyone here we will try to find alternative service providers for you.

Anyone available to help with recommissioning of sites please say.

Quote "We regret to inform you that Aramiska and its services are shutting down and the company will be unable to provide you with internet access after today, 27th of January 2006"

Best regards, Eric.

We are looking for a replacement to Aramiska have been looking through the options slowly.

not listed here but they are offering connection with no repoint they are working on routing ex aramiska customers to them so only new indoor equipment will be needed.

We are renting our hardware from Aramiska does anyone know what will happen to it are they going to come and try to take it back >??

Thanks

BySky is an organisation with over 10 years of experience with satellite Internet. They have a very good technical support and cooperate with solid partners like Astra and SatLynx. In Spain they have their own resellers educated and trained at their head office in the Netherlands.
For more information you can check the website:

Within a reasonable time they can offer you a good alternative for you Aramiska connections; Your two-way broadband connection can be on air soon!

Best Regards, Ruud

Hi John,

I've about 200 sites in Italy and since we were using Aramiska too we will find a fast solution to replace all our clients. We will probably repace modem and mantain ARC setting up in our own teleport in Milano a new service on a new satellite with same perfomances and prices.

Please take a look tomorrow to our website www.satlink.it where we will publish the new offer.

Nicola.
