You know the trouble I'm having with my VSAT in Ghana - see recent post (HELP! Signal loss after TX enabled). I think for solving my problems, I need to get more Information about the antenna we have (actually, I don't have much information about it, and my provider is asking for it, too). I posted some pictures of it here: https://static.flickr.com/64/203696946_d8196ba1f0_b.jpg  and here:  https://static.flickr.com/58/203696945_ff179fa140_b.jpg . Can anyone help me and recognizes this model? What Type is it? Does it have an Eutelsat Approval? Is it really Ku-Band (actually they donated it as Ku-Band) Any more hints? Thank You.

Best regards
Hagen

Can you take some close up pictures of the feed, OMT, filters, BUC and LNB from several different directions.

You can email the pictures to me and I will put them here.  To add images into your post write like this

Use square brackets, not squiggely ones.

Please does anyone recognise the type of dish, manufacturer, model etc ?

Best regards, Eric.

That antenna looks a lot like the old 2.4m VSAT antennas we installed in the late 80's and early 90's. They were made by Prodelin. Here is a link to their Website:  https://www.tripointglobal.com/prodelin.html

I would contact them and see if they can confirm what type antenna you have.

OOPS! edit: correct url added.

Thanks Eric. I'll send you some details within the next days. Also going to contact Prodelin.

Emailed with prodelin - they said it's none of their type, but gave me the contact of a guy to talk to. I'll try this week. But still: Any more ideas?
