Hello everyone,
I am running OpenSky service from last 3 months with an old dish which is not giving me better performance which should I at least expect.. I got only 29% signal strength ... I am from Pakistan..

Now I have decided to buy a new dish, I have two choices, aluminium and fiber..
Which will be better,
My old dish is 8ft ... should I go for same dimension for new dish?

please guide me..
Thanks

Hi mani,
Aluminum dish is always better, but try  to check your present dish fault 1st, why it is not giving enough gain/signal, if its size is small then you must change otherwise try to fix it. it is not big deal but need some patience ,
following are  main points
1- is there any tree / building covering ur dish front
2-how it was working when first installed, if it was good then you must need only adjustment. like feed horn or dish position realignment, cable conectoer retightening etc Try to get help from some experience installer
3- is dish very old, how its curve structure,
