VSAT Provider, African continent wide coverage

I am looking for quotes/price lists for VSAT providers.

Our eastern Ugandan site currently has a 1.2m dish/iDirect 3100 modem, eastern Uganda.  We are unsatisfied with current provider.

One sister hospital outside of Nairobi, Kenya will be implementing by end of the month.

The organization is examining the possibility of a one provider solution for all sites (6 total, Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia and Egypt with the further possibilities of 1 more each in UAE and Afghanistan), if we can get a good deal on 1.) install and 2.) monthly service charges.

From what I have seen of the maps of various coverage areas, this could be technically feasible.

Please email me your price lists based on 8/1 and 128/256 kbps with bandwidth usage terms, including the rate for unlimited bandwidth usage.  If possible, please include rates on either side of the sharing/contention and transfer rates (eg dedicated, 4/1, 10/1, 12/1 and 128/128, 64/128, etc).  Please include your terms of service (QoS, uptime guarantees).

Multiple quotes for 1 (Uganda), 2 (Uganda and Kenya) and 6 (above mentioned African) sites would be greatly appreciated.  With the exception of the Ugandan site, assume the sites are in the capital cities of their respective countries (Lusaka, Cairo, Addis Ababa, etc).

To save download time and our bandwidth, it would also be appreciated if the documents you send are limited to a brief company introduction and the quote itself.  No 22 page PDF files where 20 pages are an introduction to VSAT technology/networking basics with only 2 relevant pages tacked on at the end please.  =)

Thank you.

Please feel free to contact us if W3A suits your needs with our services there, with both DVB-RCS Linkstar and iDirect Kits operating and serving with MF-TDMA and SCPC Platforms.

Best regards,

Hello,

I am trying to provide internet access to three refugee camps in Zambia Meheba, Mwange and kala and I have no experience.

I'm sorry to trouble you, but it seems like you have gone through this, and I would appreciate any tips on how we should start looking for a provider - the camps are remote, have limited power and no other way of getting internet coverage than by satellite.

Thank you for any guidance
