iDirect hubs come in a range of sizes, see examples here from the iDirect web site:

...
Private iDirect hub

...
5IF iDirect hub

If you don't want to actually buy an iDirect hub you can rent a 1/5th share of a 5IF hub somewhere.  You will then also avoid the full cost of a teleport infrastructure. Maybe someone here will make you an offer, either of an unused hub or one that already has some customers connected.

Either way, you will need to invest considerably in training.

Regards, Eric.

Couldnt agree with Eric more.  Having skilled Engineers as well as Hub Network Operators (HNOs) is absolutely critical/necessary when considering such a move.  iDirect (like many other IP based Hub infrastructures) is a collision of RF Engineering, Red Hat Enterprise :Linux, and TCP/IP.  Those 3 could be considered life-long career fields for some, and TDMA IP based systems require you to be semi-knowledgeable in each of them.

So, think this thru carefully before you leap.  If you dont have an iDirect savvy engineer/team to configure it and keep it healthy, your plan will never get off the ground.
