Have a look here https://www.lyngsat.com/badr.html and study the beam coverages.

The C band beam marginally covers parts of India. You may need a 2.5m diameter dish.  Consider your exact location and note that very few programs appear to be available at C band and they do not include DD DIRECT PLUS.

I can't see DD DIRECT PLUS listed on BADR in Ku band, but if it is then it is intended for reception by people in Middle East and North African areas.

For DD DIRECT PLUS for India located people look here:
INSAT 4B 93.5° EAST
LNB Freq. is 9750 MHz & 22kHz tone is off
Freq: 10990 S.Rate 27500 Pol: Vertical
Freq: 11070 S.Rate 27500 Pol: Vertical
Freq: 11150 S.Rate 27500 Pol: Vertical
Freq: 11490 S.Rate 27500 Pol: Vertical
Freq: 11570 S.Rate 27500 Pol: Vertical

This satellite dish pointing in India page will work for you.

Best regards, Eric.
