By pressing the spacebar in the boot sequence are you able to get to a RedBoot> prompt? When on console what exactly are you seeing?

I will warn you now, that box may need to be RMA'ed.

Can I take a guess?

You were performing an upgrade.  Something went wrong, so you broke the boot sequence.  Having prior cisco experience, you thought you could initialize the flash to take a look around.  You executed the "fis init" command and it totally wiped your flash.

That's just my guess.  Prepare to RMA, my friend!

That or an attempt to defeat the rlock.

Either way, I am fairly certain it will be travelling back to iDirect.
