Hi,

Is there a way I can tell if a 3100 or 3100-NB modem has been locked to a specific provider's network? The modem I have is not connected to any dish at the moment and I am trying to determine if I can resell it as second hand equipment without any issues.

> rlock
Remote lock status: UNLOCKED

telnet to your modem and type help. you will see a brief description of all the commands.

rlock           Locks the remote to work in a specific network

remotestate will show you if your receiver is locked(along with other status):

RXer Lock:        LOCKED
