setting vlan

Hi,

I want to implement vlan on my network. I'm operating infinity HLC ids 6.097 and 3100 remotes. does anybody have instruction what parameters should be set on cisco upstream switch?

The upstream switch is a basic configuration.

you setup each port to connect to the equipment PP's EDAS NMS etc and setup the defualt Vlan 1 which is configured through the NMS system routers etc.

The PP's need to be trunk ports as with the switch connection to the router.

apart from that you should be fine.
