My knowledge of satellite usage and technology is very limited so I would appreciate an answer to this fundamental query. I have a home in rural France where I would like to move on a permanent basis. There is no DSL or Wimax that reaches my hamlet and satellite seems the only answer, however, I require permanent connection for work purposes (50 hours a week on average) and may make internet searches as often as once a minute. I have no idea if this will make my traffic total too large for satellite usage. I also require fast response times but recognise that this is unlikely to occur. Am I being unrealistic about satellite as a solution?
Thanks in advance
