Dear Colleagues,
has anyone experienced this sort of issue with Linkstar service on IS907? The modem sat led blinks green for a couple of minutes and then stops. The Buc is tested working, the LNB is the right one. and An SNR of over 13.5 on my analyser.
Funny enough, the service provider is only able to test my power, and Issue commands to the modem while the sat led is blinking. After abt 3 mins, it stops blinking and then the modem can no longer receives commands, and stops transmitting.
It just does not fast blink. I have tested on same site with a second modem, and same issue. I have rechecked my parameters and they are ok.
The Hub operators are just as confused as I am.
What cld be wroong? Pls advise.
Thanks.
Ashinze Alex

Check that the hub database lat/long match the actual site location.

Check again the parameters. -o refers to letter o, for example.

Readout pconf (e.g https://www.link-sat.net/linkstar-command-pconf.htm )  Are the parameters what you expected ?

Is the BUC power too high or too low ?  What value is it set to ?  What cable length ?

Are BUC cable connectors OK ?

Are you using cross-pol feed when should be using co-pol feed or vice versa ?

Best regards, Eric.
