Video conferencing Vsat.

Hi all! I have an existing 3.8 meter Ku band antenna and it is utilized for 1Mhz of bandwidth for video conferencing and using 16watts of transciever.

Now my question is:

Is it possible to replaced the existing antenna with a smaller size antenna? because I am planning to change it with a 2.4 prodelin antenna. is the service for the video conferencing will not be affected?

J Member ★★ Offline Posts: 26 Pakistan	Reply #2 - Oct 25^th, 2010 at 1:14pm Dear Ogiogi, You can do easily with 1.8m antenna even. As you are using 16 W trans-recevier so you will not find a problem. Which satellite u r using for this connectivity? Is the SCPC /Star/Mesh connectivity?
