Bentley Walker's New Hylas 2 Ka Band Hughes HN and I Direct  Network Operation Centre is ready for service, signal levels are around 70 dB over most of Afghan permitting use of a small dish around 98cms or less, using Right Hand Circular polarisation.

With 2 megasymbol inroutes it will be possible to get up to 4 megabits uploading, and downloading can be up to 45 megabits although the service packages will, on shared bandwidth, offer up to 15 megabits. Cost of the hardware is less than the average Lap Top and commissioning and set up is a whole lot easier than the Ku Band predecessor, for more details contact Anthony@BentleyWalker.com
