Just a quick query I am on beam 46, and have lost Network Access since about 11am this morning. Anybody else experiencing problems?
Posting this via 3G connection.
Being Sunday I am unable to check with Tooway Direct.
Thanks in advance.

Yup whole system been off and on all day  , currently still off

first report from skylogic @ 10.42

We would like to inform you that we have detected anomalous behavior which could affect the Tooway on KA-SAT service on all beams.
Our engineers are currently working in order to investigate the root cause.
We will provide you with an update as soon as possible.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

latest at 16.39

Please be informed that our engineers are still working in order to restore the service at nominal level.

Unfortunately the total recovery of the whole service is taking more time than expected.

We will provide you with an update as soon as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

It didn't work all day... I'm frustrated.
I use tooway internet first week only - how often it occurs?

Same for me on Spot Beam 76, Scottish Northern Isles, down before 1100 BST and back just before 2100 BST.

Did a speed test - 18.55Mbps/4.36Mbps so back to normal.

Had Tooway for 3 month and it is only the 2nd time I've had an outage and 1st was for around 3-4 hours.

Hi creusetec. How did you find this? Our provider for our Tooway installation never reply to emails about downtime, and there seems to be no service status page anywhere. I wish Skylogic communicated more. Did you get this from their site, or a special engineer's page?

Grateful for any pointers.

Thanks

Will

Message could be send from Skylogic to one of the official agents. Some of the agents forward this kind of info to clients and local installers.

Contact your provider/agent and ask for more info, I am sure they will be happy to help you.

Thanks. I find it astonishing that for a service which is predominantly aimed at people in rural areas, who rely on their internet connection, that they provide no communication of downtime whatsoever. It's outrageous, to be honest.
