I would like to find out how difficult it is to change the feed on a 7.3m Andrew antenna. The feed is currently linear and I would like to change it to circular.
Can 1 person alone do it?

Thanks

Have a look at the joint flanges where the circular waveguide from the feed horn is connected to the OMT, which splits out the 4 GHz and 6 GHz rectangular waveguides.

How accessible is that joint ?

If easily accessible then consider how a polariser tube could be inserted between A and B.
...

Be extremely careful not to bend the long circular tube, even by 1/000 inch.

Read more: Circular polarisation set up

Your antenna has dual optics (i.e. sub-reflector and main reflector) so the transmit circular polarisation of the feed is the same as the transmit polarisation from the your big dish.

Best regards, Eric.
