There has been publicity recently that 500 million yahoo email addresses have been hacked.

If you have a yahoo email address and you use the same password for both your email account and the satsig forum membership then there is a risk that your membership here will be hacked as well and false messages, spam adverts, spam links and inappropriate images posted in your name.

If this applies to you please login here at the forum home page and change your password.

ALWAYS USE A DIFFERENT UNIQUE AND COMPLEX PASSWORD FOR EACH INTERNET SITE YOU USE, otherwise if one site gets hacked then all your other accounts are hackable also.

Best regards, Eric.

I've just completed emailing 398 members with yahoo email addresses.

In a number of cases yahoo replied saying that the yahoo address did not exist, had been disabled or discontinued. Such cases have been deleted.

Anyone who is affected by deletion may start a new registration process.

If anyone wants an old posting deleted please tell me and I can do it manually.

Old postings, that are no longer interesting or relevant, and long unused memberships continue to be deleted from time to time.

Best regards, Eric.
