This is a steerable beam using adjustable satellite actuators. The images show a typical beam position. Verify with the service provider before ordering dish and transmit BUC.
Contours are satellite transponder downlink power (dBW eirp) which, if fully utilised in single carrier operation, will govern the receive dish size required. Minimum dish size will also be governed by interference from adjacent satellites and by the required link-budget rain fade margin.

Contours are in uplink G/T and will, together with the transponder gain setting, govern the combination of uplink dish size and transmitter BUC power required. Power spectral density into the feed will limited by interference considerations into nearby satellites, and the transmit sidelobe quality of the dishes used..
