If you need higher bandwidth capability than standard R-BGAN portable mobile satellite services then the capability of Global Teleports transportable solution is a suggested.

Global Teleports have integrated a transportable VSAT solution which involves an 89cm dish, a SkyStream DVB receiver and ViperSat SCPC transmitter.

This has been demonstrated in the NSS7 European beam with 512k dedicated on the outlink (as a fraction of a 36 Mbit/s DVB outlink) plus a 512k dedicated return link using an SCPC carrier.

Applications include: interim service until the permanent solution is available, Business Continuity (Disaster Recovery back-up), Events ( internet cafe etc ), news events, disaster back-up, security,  emergency control centres, police etc.

A second LNB is available for use in the NSS7 West Africa beam.
