Ku band in Cameroon

We, private internet users in Douala, would like to install a
Ku band access for our residential compound.
3 buildings ; 6 inhabitants per building.
it would be first a local ethernet network linked to the
terminal/router.
Price for access would be "feasible" for that 10-15 paying
users.
We would be responsible for the VSAT local equipment and our
local network.
Question : Have you known about such a configuration ?
What do your think about feasibility ?
Environment : telephone deficiency, weakness of local internet
providers, tropical climate. |

Satellite capacity - SCPC dedicated- C-Band (Americas, the
Caribbean, Middle East & Africa footprints).
The C-band is suitable to West /Central Africa high rainfall
areas.
Landing services and engineering support in our teleport based
in Miami (two Andrew's 9.3 meter, some
Prodelin's 3,8 meter
antennas and other). Our 9.3
meter antenna allows for 2.4 meter and 5 W- BUC remotes all over
West & Central Africa.
Direct access to the USA Internet backbone.( DS3)

We can offer service via C band which would require a 2.4m
antenna. Service starts at $604 per month, with the equipment
costing $7302. Please let me know if I can offer additional
information.

We can offer you Ku equipment (2.669 euro) 1.2m dish
and wireless hot spot access for the residents....
you decide the bandwidth you want to share. |
