mobile systems/ Wi-fi/ rv's & rv parks
« on: 02. May 2004 at 19:38 »

Greetings all,
I am setting up a mobile business to market satellite Internet/TV access to US based RV owners and Wi-fi/Internet access to RV parks, businesses, coffee shops, hotels, etc. I plan to launch in mid June of 2004, and plan to start west of the rockies. I am currently investigating alliances with Motosat (DataStorm, Directway) Hotspotzz, coachconnect, and a few others.
I would love to hear from anyone who has had dealings with any of these companies or any others I may not be aware of. This is a wonderful technology that is finally starting to become affordable. I have been waiting for six years to find my niche in this industry and feel it’s time to go mobile.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

This page: http://www.groundcontrol.com/prod_ig2500_001.htm makes quite interesting reading about the way they have repackaged what looks like a Hughes Star Duo and a PC into a box together with a motorised antenna for mobile and RV type applications.
