Remote Internet Satellite

Being a snowbird and technical geek I have always yearned for access to my email and the internet while in my RV.  I have found a company in Canada that does that though I believe their solution is based more for mobile services in the north. Costly yes, but they have been very knowledgeable and my system automatically locates and locks in within 3 minutes no matter where I have been.  Why is it that more northern businesses do not utilize this technology? The company is www.ciibis.ca

First guess, is that it goes to antenna size. Generally, the farther out you are within the satellite's "footprint", the bigger the antenna you need. Bigger antennas don't travel as well.
