The coverage map shows the dish sizes recommended for PAS-1R service.
Look carefully at the map and consider your location.
If you are in the extreme outer contour you will need a
larger dish compared with the smaller sizes required nearer the centre.
Beam contours are 43, 45, 47, 48, 49 dBW downlink eirp.
Provisional VSAT dish sizes: Inner area 1.2m, outer area 1.8m diameter.
Service using the business quality ViaSat Linkstar modem using 42 Mbits/s DVB outlink and RCS return link. Ku band.
Dish size must meet two requirements:
1. Dish size be able to receive the outlink with an adequate rain margin.
2. Dish size and BUC power must be sufficient for the uplink bit rate
required.
