The start of the new year

The start of a new year is an opportunity for reflection and inspiration…a time to embrace the past with remembrance and transcend the future with dynamic energy.   Our mission to become a truly pan-African IP Telco enabler has edged forward as we continue to provide infrastructure solutions to our valued Partners and Service Providers. To date we operate, maintain and service VSAT & wireless infrastructure solutions operational in 28 African countries.

2004 also tested Q-KON’s capability to endure strong competition and price wars, that are the inevitable consequence when new and inexperienced players venture in & out of an industry. We are pleased that we could meet the demands of our valued customers and we continue forward knowing that we are one of the few very 1st Providers that can offer services underwritten by more than 4 years of experience in the challenging African market.

We look forward to both the planned and unplanned challenges that 2005 holds. Planned challenges for us w ill be to grow the ViNet PAS1R platform up to full capacity of more than 1500 sites, enter and secure a share of the highly contested deregulated South African market and complete the 2 major infrastructure projects we secured in Angola.

In February 2005, Q-KON will be participating in Cisco’s extensive exhibition programme, the World of Solutions, which will include solutions from major Cisco partners, among other exhibitors. This promises to be the largest technical training event in the networking industry specifically targeted towards the technical employees of Cisco’s end-users and partners. As thousands of networking professionals have discovered, Networkers is the best, most cost-effective way to receive the training and hands-on experience professionals need to stay informed and to get ahead of the competition. We hope to see you there…
