Wildblue installation reviews:I had a Wildblue installer from Plumas-Sierra Telecommunications out at my house 3 weeks ago and the person they sent had never done a Wildblue installation before or even gone to a class. He had almost no computer skills and thought that the satellite modem with its Ethernet connection was "plug and play" and should have been automatically recognized and "installed" by the computer's operating system. The dish was not even installed, per the directions, with a dual block ground and even though I had one in the same spot that I used for another dish, the installer ignored it and just made a straight cable run from the satellite to the modem. As a result the satellite was not installed and operable so I shipped it back. 4 July 2006 I am sorry to hear this sort of story. What was your experience ? More reviews please. |
Please help with additions, amendments, deletions or suggestions if you know reputable companies that actually do real genuine satellite internet installation and service in California state or other states please email me eric@satsig.net
