EUTELSAT BROADBAND SUBSIDIARY, SKYLOGIC, RETAINED BY SPAIN’s ZARAGOSSA REGION TO BRING BROADBAND VIA SATELLITE TO 120 COMMUNITIES

Skylogic, the broadband affiliate of Eutelsat Communications (Euronext Paris: ETL) has been awarded a contract by the Diputacion Provincial de Zaragoza to bring full broadband amenities to 120 communities in the region of Saragossa in northern Spain. Following a public competitive tender Skylogic’s D-STAR service was selected as the satellite component of an extensive regional broadband programme called Zaragoza Internet Provincial (ZIP).

TATANET PARTNERS WITH IDIRECT & ST ELECTRONICS TO EXPAND SERVICES

India’s fastest growing satellite service provider gears up to grow services for enterprise IP networks and other applications

Herndon, Va., June 10, 2008 – VT iDirect, Inc. (iDirect), a subsidiary of VT Systems Inc (VT Systems) and a world leader in satellite-based IP communications technology, together with its sister company, ST Electronics (Satcom & Sensor Systems) Pte Ltd (STEE-SatComS), announced today a strategic partnership with Tatanet Services Ltd (Tatanet), India’s fastest growing VSAT service provider. STEE-SatComS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited (ST Electronics).

Tatanet has implemented an iDirect Series 15000 Universal Hub in Mumbai, India, which will enable it to expand its business across multiple developing markets that require specialized service capabilities. Tatanet, a division of Nelco Ltd., is the first commercial service provider in India to operate an iDirect network.
