IET (IEE) Satellite Communications trainingFor the current planned summer course please go to Satellite Communications summer school Suitable for people working in the satellite communications business and for post graduates. Staff working at a Teleport hub, such as network controllers will benefit, but please note that the course is not intended for VSAT and small dish installation technicians. These popular courses have been held annually since I helped get them started many years ago. They provide students with a good background of satellite communications technologies, as well as a up to date details of emerging technologies and future systems. The course is ideal for engineers practising within the Satellite Communications field or for those in similar fields requiring an update in this area. The course includes project work and exercises. Typical course scope and content:Review of satellite Systems The last course was held at The University of Surrey, UK.
