Title: Hughes Net / DW6000 parts needed
Post by Dustdevil on Apr 14th, 2007 at 10:20am
I'm in need of a list of EU stores or businesses, that might possibly carry LNBs compatable with Direcway/HughesNet Systems. I have 2 HughesNet dishes here (purchased in USA) and discovered that the LNBs are not the correct frequency range. The BUCs I believe are compatable....A radio wave, is a radio wave, is a radio wave....I hope. But I'm searching for 2 LNB's.

Please help, I would hate to think of these two .98m systems as overly large paper weights.

Hi there

You should contact a Hughes VAR as they will need to get you connected to the European service and I think this carries a charge to cover the management of this

If you want to use these HughesNet terminals in Europe approach some of the european HughesNet VSAT service providers and ask about the downlink frequencies and thus appropriate LNB type (and thus local oscillator frequency) to use.

You will need to verify if the OMT/filter assembly also is compatible with the europe downlink freqencies.

Best regards, Eric.
