2 usefull websites to see what channels is available in your neck of the woods.
Lyngsat.com satcodx.com Not sure but I presume if you do not already own a sat dish you might want to try something in the 1.6m or 1.8m range with a c/ku dual lnb Might also need this for SA as the bigger the dish the less weather interference as well as more satellites you can see or make use of. BSC621-2 C / KU Band LNBF works well in USA might have something more advanced from Europe. Also get a FTA receiver. This will allow you to get both C band and Ku band using a FTA receiver. As for what you can get depends on the satelite your dish is looking at. Might want to try a motorized unit and depending on the sat receiver you might need to have a dish mover box "V-Box II from moteck" works well. Back to original Question = E-TV is on pas4 / intelsat 4 72E or was have to check. https://www.lyngsat.com/intel4.html Might also be on another sat not sure don't have my satcodx program installed on this pc. Easy answer is look thru the satellites + their channels and on lyngsat it would have a F next to it indicating it is free. Next look for the channel = 3452 or 3.452 is C band KU is 10000 or higher or 10.000 or higher. Alternatively if you want plenty FTA get the above c/ku + big dish + actuator / motor + receiver and you can watch any thing from about above nigeria to above thailand give or take a few deg. Also make sure the beam is pointing south or close to or onto the island. https://www.satcodx.info/INT/INT004SH.jpg = good https://www.satcodx.info/INT/INT004K1.jpg = bad only for europe. Lastly satcodx.com has a "DISH track" on top of the say 72E satellite page and this will also tell you basically about dish angle / elevation etc. for pointing the dish. Hope this gets you in the right direction. |
