have anyone come across the iSite user guide or
the API that had been mentioned in several iDirect's product sheet - it seemed hard to find them

or

any safe way to create your own options files that changes the QoS settings for TDMA (or is that not allowed)

please help / point in some directions ....

thanks =)

Which iSite version you are using, I may find the user guide for you.

Daniel, you cant change any QoS Policies/Rules on your satellite router with iSite.  Those configurations can only be changed with the iBuilder GUI (tool). iBuilder is the configuration software that manages the entire hub/network.

Even if you were to try changing them locally in notepad, they would not match those that are stored on the Primary NMS databases.

If you were to try that, it would put a (!) on your modem indicating that something has changed in your local config that DOESNT match the hub side config, and the HNO would then investigate it and see what changes you made (he runs a "compare config" on it).

Recommend that if you desire a QoS change that you run it through the NOC or Ops Center that manages your link. (whereever your NMS resides).
