Post by papayeya on Dec 30th, 2007 at 10:57pm
Dear All,

Am looking to know more about the satellite antenna used in UAVs if you don't know what is the UAV, UAV is a small RC Airplane controlled form the ground :)

Anyone can provide me with more information about those antennas ?

UAVs vary from a dragonfly with a microchip payload to 30m span Gossamer Albatross size craft.  Antennas, for communications direct with the ground or up to satellites need to be fit for purpose.  You say what you want to do and maybe we can help.  Otherwise the advice above applies - do you own research on the internet. Start here if you are interested in using UAVs for providing satellite internet service to the region below the UAV:  https://www.yorkhapweek.org/

Best regards, Eric.
