How did they diagnose the transmission as being low?  Did they bring you up CW carrier and look at you?  Have you put a specan on the IF port of the modem to ensure it is radiating L-Band  (any freq)?  I would start there and work your way thru the uplink chain.

the problem in the NM+ll itself , if you do small test , on same dish + cables + lnb + buc , type the command[ rx snr]  in the telnet  if you got it for example 10 db in the infinti modem you will got it 9 in NM+ll , same for up C/N , i think this is releated to the NM+ll itself ,

Hi Chaady,

What is the serial number of the II+?

I've had TX problems with practically all II+ NM's on the networks I manage.  Initially they start going low U/S SNR so you increase the TX power....which usually has no effect and eventually it goes so poor it drops out of the network altogether.

The affected batch, which is a known technical issue with iDirect, is between serial numbers 10000 and 20000 with the worst affected being serial numbers 14000 - 16000.

It may be the cause of your issues but like Mike says, thoroughly investigate your uplink chain first.  If your NMII+ does have this issue it's back to iDirect/your supplier for repair I'm afraid.

Hope this helps,

Lukio ;.)
