Title: 3100 or 3100_NB?
Post by et3sgh on Apr 8th, 2008 at 7:35pm
We were supplied with a working i3100 system, we originally ordered a 3100 modem not a 3100_NB.

How is it possible for us to ascertain which model we were actually supplied with? The label at the back says "Model 3100" and nothing more!

The modem is now PW locked so I can not use all of the iSite functions.

Thanks.

Hi, the difference of 3100 and 3100_NB is the upstream speed. 3100_NB can only handle 200 Kbps upstream.

yes, but how can we tell which model we have without going to the noc.

The modem is locked so it's not possible to run a DID command!

The 3100 NB can be identified from the bar code label at the rear, they all clearly state 3100 NB.
