Connected it IS10, alignment using iSite gives 17.5V reading at the end of 30m of RG6.  Service provider activated without any comment or interaction with me other than the original request for SNR, TX etc.  After 5 hrs I contacted them to get an update on status and they advised me that it had been activated for approx 30 minutes.  First time I ever activated a system with virtually nil input/interaction with those activating a system.
Result is we have a terribly slow system.  Takes 2.5 minutes to load some web pages.  The activation department says 'contact tech support' which I have done with several reminders for almost 48hrs now.

Bottom line is I need to get this system servicable and am looking for things to do from my end.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.  iDirect 3000 system.    Service is supposed to be 256/1024 10:1 CR

Nothing to do with ur activation time and the Up/Down bandwidth. check with Hub for BW configuration for your remote also any special QoS Settings. Ping to Hub and Ping to also Traceroute to your Hub and Traceroute to findout where more delay happens and take necessary action. Also, check the DNS IP (ping and make sure it works with normal delay). If your DNS IP is not with Hub, Request Hub operators DNS IP and configure it... Also, check any proxy settings at your IE. If the above OK. You should get good internet speed.
