Dear
I connect my iscpc modem via isite (accessing it thru internet) but it remains grey color after logged in . i cannot see any status in the left side of isite below login.i can see the parameters but i cannot view the statitistics like IP traffic etc . it is not active. the wonder is that from another PC i can see the ip traffic but cannot see any parameters. Why the modem doesnt remais green colour in site after logged in to the modem.its look like there is no connection to modem but there is . Could you please suggest any solution Regards SMlt |

See explanation in earlier thread:
https://www.satsig.net/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=idirect;action=display;num=1217398705 It seems that iSite collects data using broadcast mode packets so you need to be directly connected or configure your router suitably. Best regards, Eric |

Were the PCs swapped over so that each was directly connected to the modem in the same way ?
Maybe network interface settings or firewall settings not identical ? The explanation given in the other thread makes sense if the PC with the grey parameters symptom is on the other side of a router away from the modem as routers do not normally spread broadcast type packets into adjacent networks. Best regards, Eric. |
