Hi guys:
two month ago i had problem with pointing 1.2 huges dicetway but i manage the point the dish after the help that i get from this wonderful site but i need additional information about the downstream SNR and  tx power what is those two values and did they effect the internet speed and do they had any relationship with the polarization .

SNR = Signal to Noise Ratio (regardless of "upstream" or "downstream"

Tx power = the amount of RF energy - typically in watts - the earth station radiates toward the satellite

There is no direct relationship between Polarization and either of the above. Optimizing polarization is a matter of geometry, where the earth station antenna is rotationally aligned with respect to the orbital arc.
