Title: Beacon Signal
Post by okdesokdes on Nov 13th, 2009 at 8:37am
1.2 parabolic antenna
LO:10.000 MHZ Ku-Band PLL LNB
Satellite Beacon frequency:11.105.000 H
3430-L-2 Beacon Receiver

I can't see beacon signal level in beacon receiver.

Is there anyone who has any idea about this?

Regards.

Have you tuned the beacon receiver to the correct frequency ? (1105 MHz) ?

Have you set the receive polarisation to Horizontal and then applied the correct adjustment angle ?

Are you pointed at the satellite ?

Can you see the beacon using a spectrum analyser with a narrow resolution bandwidth ?

If the PLL LNB needs an external 10 MHz reference, are you supplying a 10 MHz reference ?

Best regards, Eric.
